MY BROTHER WAS A VAMPIRE

Project Type

by Morag Shepherd

The Great Salt Lake Fringe, July 25, 26, 27
Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Studio @ the SpaceUK-Niddry St., August 2025

Produced by Immigrant's Daughter Theatre and Lil Poppet Productions

My Brother Was a Vampire delves into the haunted heart of sibling bonds tangled in love, trauma and the supernatural. Told in reverse, it exposes Skye and Callum’s raw, messy attachment, entwined with secrets, sharp humor and pain. Skye’s eerie abilities blur the line between control and illusion as they grapple with abuse and family dysfunction. This ghostly, suspenseful puzzle asks: Can we escape our past, or are we forever marked by it? Minimal staging and dark humor pull audiences into this unflinching exploration of survival and unbreakable family ties.
